Amy Chappelle, LLPC

About

Amy is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting
adolescents and families as a teacher and school counselor. She graduated from
Oakland University with a Masters of School & Community Counseling and Bachelor’s
degree in education. Amy has worked in K-12 schools since 2005 and specifically as a
high school counselor since 2016. Today, she works with both adolescents and adults in
individual therapy, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your
experiences and goals together.
Amy’s approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. She draws from a
range of therapeutic techniques including talk therapy, mindfulness practices, art
therapy, and more. Whether you’re facing anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, or
simply seeking greater clarity and connection, she’s here to help you navigate your path
forward with compassion and authenticity.
Outside of the therapy room, Amy is a mom to two wonderful daughters who inspire her
daily. She enjoys reading, writing, movies, music, swimming, traveling, cooking, and
cheering on her favorite football and baseball teams. These parts of her life bring her
balance and perspective - something she values deeply in working with clients as well.
If you’re ready to begin, or even just curious about what therapy might look like, we
invite you to reach out.
