About

Traumatic events can occur without warning at any point throughout our lives. Some of us carry these unresolved traumas from childhood into adulthood without learning how to cope with the past and they can negatively impact every aspect of our well-being. My goal is to provide a safe space for authentic exploration and judgment free guidance for empowerment along the way. I am a Limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I attended Western Michigan University to earn my B.A.S. in Sociology in 2010 and Master of Social Work in 2014.

I specialize in helping people through trauma and grief. I have experience working with adults over 21 who are survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and homicide. My background includes working with children as young as 18 months up to 17 years old who were victims of child abuse/neglect and/or labeled at-risk as delinquents and youth offenders. They may have been part of the foster care system as well. I’m also privileged to have helped clients in the past of all ages with depression, academic struggles, self-consciousness, anxiety, life skills, and decision making, among others. It’s important to understand that each individual shapes their paradigm based on their life experiences and their needs will be uniquely different from another.
