Georgianna Slazinski, LLMSW

Georgianna graduated from Michigan State University in 1991 and received her Masters in Clinical Social Work in 1995 from Wayne State University. She completed a postgraduate Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine Psychiatric Clinic in 1996.

Georgianna has clinical experience with older children, adolescents , and adult populations. She employs individualized modalities in her practice, with an emphasis on Psychodynamic, Cognitive –Behavioral and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy.

In her free time, Georgianna enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and nature.

Georgianna believes increasing insight and understanding can help manage behavior, mood and transitions in daily life and relationships. Having a safe and trusting alliance with your therapist helps to create these healthy shifts and positive changes.
